NFI Cal Cartage is seeking a CDL A Local/Regional Drayage Owner Operator in Savannah, GA

We have immediate opportunities for owner-operators and small carriers to pull drayage loads between port locations and company-owned or customer-owned facilities. We pay round-trip miles, detention pay, and a fuel service charge weekly via direct deposit. As the largest service provider at most port facilities, our contractors often benefit from expanded hours, priority access, company-owned chassis, and free parking. Our local facility leadership works with each contractor to keep their trucks moving and generate revenue.

Compensation:

• Average Weekly Gross Pay: $4,500
• Bonuses:

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Home Daily
• Operating Area: 300-mile radius around Savannah, GA
• Shift: Flexible days/hours
• Division:  Intermodal/Drayage
• Import/Export 20’-40’ Ocean Containers

Requirements

• Must have your own truck that passes DOT inspection and is ELD compliant

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable Class A commercial driving experience in a similar type/size vehicle with safe driving record
• Must have CDL A license from your state of residence
• TWIC Card
• Container and Tri-axle experience Preferred
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• No DUIs/Careless/Reckless convictions in the past 5 years. 
• Drivers must live within 65 miles of Savannah, GA or be willing to relocate for this position
