Material Handler

Job Description

Job Title:  Material Handler
Pay:  $15.00 - $16.00/hour
Job Description:  Responsible for the receiving of vials, stoppers, and seals from receiving dock and staging of component for production. Also responsible for miscellaneous tasks such as data feeding of received and returned material, retrieving batch records, returning unused components to the warehouse, fulfilling component preparation consumable items orders requirement from the Central Storeroom.
Responsibilities:


  • Receives incoming components from receiving dock and transfer it into the component warehouse

  • Timely & accurately count the received components and enter the required information in ERP system

  • Coordinates and receive processing batch record from material management as per the schedule

  • Stage components vials, stoppers, seals etc. as per the batch record to meet the production requirement

  • Request consumable items filters, tubing, hoses, wrapping paper, gasket etc. from Central Storeroom and deliver to component preparation area

  • Complete production documentation including temperature chart, batch records, etc. per quality and cGMP requirements

  • Returns unused components to inventory upon completion of production runs and record in the ERP system

  • Ensures all work is performed and documented in accordance with existing company policies, procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and health and safety requirements

  • Coordinate with central warehouse

  • Maintains warehouse is orderly, neat, and free from trip/fall hazards conditions

  • Operate forklift for the movement and stacking of pallets

  • Follow directions and take ownership of assignments

  • Wrap pallets on palletizer for the shipment to warehouse

  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

  • Previous warehouse, material handling experience

  • Ability to lift 65lbs frequently

  • Ability to drive a forklift
