Our client located in Hazelwood is in need of a Quality Control Clerk to join their team! This is a full time, temporary opportunity with the potential for permanent hire for the right candidate. Hours for this opportunity will be 7: 00 am - 3: 30 pm or 7: 30 am - 4: 00 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate in this role will have at least a year of previous Quality Control experience, with excellent attention to detail. Pay for this opportunity is between $12 - $14/hr, commensurate with experience.
Job Duties:
- Perform inspections on small to medium size parts
- Verify parts/units are complete
- Use tools, charts, or other specifications to verify that parts meet requirements
- Use a voltage meter to test parts and verify that electrical requirements are met
- Complete inspection reports using MS Office and ERP system
- Use micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, and torque wrenches as necessary to test parts
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 1 year prior experience in a Quality Control position
- Experience using MS Office and an ERP system highly preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, and torque wrenches required
- Stable work history
