Job Description

Job Summary: As TMM ISO Manager, you will oversee Rinchem’s Global Chemical and Gas bulk supply line and act as company SME to increase Rinchem's footprint in the market. Will be responsible for procurement & management of ISO containers, material inventory management, identifying/ engaging in cost savings & inventory reduction activities, generating non-binding forecasts, scenario planning, risk assessments, Post Mortems, and performance against schedule (PAS). The position also maintains & analyzes critical commodity data, compiles commodity indicators, and communicates direction to suppliers, materials management, internal customers/external customers, business partners, and key vendors in our ISO supply line.

Qualifications:

•         Candidates should have 7+ years supply chain, logistics management, supply chain management, e-commerce and/or project management with a proven track record of driving results based on data, metrics, and KPIs.  Candidates should also possess chemical and gas supply chain experience in a Fab start-up & sustaining environment.  More specifically:


- Ability to negotiate, Influence & have strong customer service skills, with ability to work through internal teams & other departments in Rinchem


- Ability to plan, implement, and lead cost improvement


- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including presentation skills


- Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills


- Strategic thinking, scenario planning, & risk mitigation techniques and systems


- Ability to prioritize and plan operational workload


- Ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the improvement efforts in quality and productivity


- Manage and develop staff including remote employees
 
Experience and Education:
7 plus years of Supply Chain experience in a chemical and gas setting


Bachelor’s degree bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations research, business analytics, or a related field


International trade and/or freight forwarding experience


Proven process improvement experience in a 3PL setting


Experience with hazardous materials and/or pharmaceutical transportation


Experience with total materials management


Communication Skills:

•         Develop and execute transportation solutions to support operations and customers

•         Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of employees and customers,3PL and vendors from front line to C Suite

•         Ability to work effectively as a team lead with high tolerance of ambiguity using Initiative and assertive communication skills

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•         Ability to train, coach and assist all levels within the organization
 
Computer Skills: 
Software experience: Microsoft Office, SAP, Business Intelligence tools, Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
 
Proficiency in Outlook*, Excel*, Word*, Access*, and PowerPoint*
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

•         Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and other applicable federal and state regulations 

•         Ability to receive certification in DOT and transportation specific disciplines (IMDG and ITCO)

•         Knowledge or experience with hazardous materials and/or waste transportation preferred

•         Six Sigma experience or certification preferred

Other Skills and Abilities:

•         Successful completion of Rinchem Supervisory/Management Training

Other Qualifications:

•         Ability to manage staff in different countries and time zones



•       Must be able to travel internationally depending upon restrictions and regulations


Primary Responsibilities of the Job:
 


•         
•  Works with Rinchem leadership to develop Rinchem’ s ISO Bulk business supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction and controlling cost to increase profits

•         
•  Leads the TMM Logistics team in executing best practices and measuring performance through KPI’s

•         
•  Quickly understand and assess simulation results and the business impact of trends to make the best decisions based on available data.

•        
•  Managing the relationships with ISO tank manufacturer, internal/external relationships, ISO yards, depots, Rinchem’s logistic network, and vendors as it pertains to the ISO tank supply line in Rinchem’s network

•        
•  Work with NATMM, fabs, and supplier to manage inventory levels of the ISO to avoid disruption and a potential risk to the supply line

•        
•  Define metrics to measure the supply line performance and drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce non-value-added work.

•        
•  Oversee Procurement of ISO tanks, lining, telematics, storage, and equipment in the ISO tank supply line

•         
•  Developing and maintaining market insight and executing strategies to eliminate risk in the ISO tank container business

•         
•  ISO tank fleet management including utilization and positioning, fleet sizing, maintenance and repair, and compliance

•         
•  Oversee product distribution and coordinate shipments

•        
•  Ensure all shipments comply with interstate traffic laws and regulations

•        
•  Track and report shipment results

•         
•  Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations
